My Personal Recommendations – We have both brands in our house, me I wear a Garmin Vivoactive 3, and my partner he wears the Fitbit Versa 4 Waterfall Blue. I love my Garmin and if I was to replace it tomorrow I would probably buy the Garmin Vivoactive 5 Orchid, I love the colorful digital display (this was what drew me to my original vivo 3) and the Garmin android App is great. I tend to use my fitness tracker to log my daily steps, my cardio and strength workouts and track my sleep. My partner uses his Fitbit mainly for running but he was drawn to the additional features of mindfulness sessions, and improved sleep quality. He likes that the battery lasts around 6 days and that it helps him maintain his healthy mind and body with its daily stress management score, reflection logging, guided breathing sessions and mindfulness content.
